A season-long mentorship group designed to provide more confidence in backcountry travel and avalanche hazard assessment.

 

So you’ve taken your Avy 1 course, but now what?

Everyone knows that you need your Avy 1 Course to be a good backcountry partner, but what everyone doesn’t realize when they get into traveling through avalanche terrain is that this sh!t is complicated, and an Avy 1 course isn’t enough.

Avalanche Education is a lifelong learning process and is best done with experienced mentors to help guide that path. So we created our TourMentorship Program with lots of enthusiasm for learning, and just the right amount of tough love to put you out front, making decisions with your group, while we provide coaching to help you feel more confident in your decision-making process.

Mentorship is at our Core

Weekday Cohort

  • Nov. 23rd (Weekend + Weekday Cohorts meet). 1/2 outdoors, 1/2 indoors.

  • Plus Online Meet-Ups and Planning sessions.
